Mountain holidays: documentation and step to follow to come in Italy without any stress

Your holiday in Italy is approaching and for us, it is essential that it is dedicated not only to relaxation and fun, but also in total safety.

Holidays Documents to come in Italy

The current legislation (Legislative Decree 52, art. 52) has divided the countries of origin into 4 groups. There are requirements for entry into Italy from each:

    • Group A
      --> The Vatican City State and the Republic of San Marino

Requirements → None

    • Group B
      --> No state belongs to this group at the moment.

    • Group C

      --> Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Denmark (including the Faroe Islands and Greenland), Estonia, Finland, France, (including Guadeloupe, Martinique, Guyana, Réunion, Mayotte and excluding other territories located outside the European continent), Germany, Greece, Ireland, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands (excluding territories located outside the European continent), Poland, Portugal (including the Azores and Madeira), United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain (including territories on the African continent), Sweden, Hungary, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Andorra, Principality of Monaco


REQUIREMENTS

  1. Present a Green Certificate attesting that in the forty-eight hours prior to entry into Italian territory, a molecular or antigenic test carried out by means of a swab, has proved negative.

  2. Fill in the Passenger Locator Form document in which information on the travel itinerary, telephone number and address of stay in Italy is collected in order to allow the health authorities to be contacted in case of exposure to the virus while travelling. All travelers are obliged to fill in the PLF. It will be necessary to fill in 1 PLF for each traveling adult while minors can be entered in the form together with the adult.

  3. Notify the Prevention Department of the competent regional health authority of your entry. In the event that the Green Certificate is NOT provided with a negative swab result, travelers must:

    1. Do a 10-day isolation at the address indicated in the digital location form (PLF)
    2. Undergo a swab at the end of isolation

Group D

--> Australia, New Zealand, the Republic of Korea, Rwanda, Singapore, Thailand, Japan, Canada, and the United States


REQUIREMENTS
→ follows the same obligations as Group C

 

    • Group E
      --> All states and territories not expressly indicated in another list.

REQUIREMENTS → ALL travelers who come to or TRANSIT within Group E countries during the 14 days prior to entering Italy will be obliged to:

  • Follow ALL the obligations of Group C


In addition to:

  • - Reach your final destination in Italy by private vehicle only

  • - Undergo fiduciary isolation and health surveillance for 10 days

  • - Undergo an additional molecular or antigenic test at the end of the 10-day isolation

 

    • Brazil, India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka


      Travel for TOURISM is NOT allowed.


These regulations remain in effect until July 30, 2021.

 

COVID TESTED FLIGHTS


Flights authorized by the Ministry of Health with a specific ordinance.

Passengers on these flights are required to:

  1. Upon boarding, Present a Green Certificate attesting that in the forty-eight hours prior to entry into Italian territory, a molecular or antigenic test carried out by means of a swab, has proved negative (or European Green Pass - under processing).

  2. Fill in the Passenger Locator Form 

  3. Undergo a molecular or antigenic swab at the destination airport.

The authorized routes are:

  • - Atlanta - Rome Fiumicino
  • - New York - Rome Fiumicino
  • - Atlanta - Milan Malpensa
  • - New York - Milan Malpensa


In addition to Rome Fiumicino and Milan Malpensa and on an experimental basis, Naples “Capodichino” and Venice “Marco Polo” flights from:

  • - Canada
  • - Japan
  • - United Arab Emirates
