Cervinia also boasts the glacier palace ice grotto, which is the highest grotto in all of the alps, standing at 4000 sqm above sea level and attracts tourists in their droves every year!

This magical grotto can be reached by from the Klein Matterhorn station along a 50 metre tunnel carved in ice. The grotto is 15 metres underground and offers a stunning light effect, which is truly remarkable.
